Allie and Isaak endured such a journey to finally get to their wedding day. As many brides know, planning a wedding during Covid was full of difficulties. After talking on the phone with Allie last fall, they decided to push their bigger wedding in Sequoia National Park to 2022, and elope with just their parents present in Yosemite.

National Parks are very important to these two. I did their engagement photos in Arches National Park, their elopement in Yosemite, and next year will be joining them again to finally celebrate in Sequoia!

Their elopement day started just before sunrise at one of my all time favorite locations, Glacier Point. They had the most beautiful ceremony, the sun peaked over half dome right as they walked down the aisle. The smoke created a unique atmosphere that softened the morning light, and made the surroundings turn a light shade of red.

After Glacier Point we headed into the valley to explore the meadows and stamp their national park passport! We returned to Glacier Point Road for sunset photos at another one of my favorite spots, and ended the day at a French restaurant where I tried Caviar for the very first time!

Yosemite is my favorite place in the world, it's hard beat the constant beautiful views this park offers. Add in marrying your best friend and some incredible hikes, and I'd say that's the best day ever!

Thank you Allie and Isaak for choosing me as your photographer, and I can't wait to celebrate with your family and friends again next year!
