HELLO FUTURE FRIENDS, my name is christina joy
When you hire me, you can expect a bubbly extraverted personality with no fear of adventure. Some of my most adventurous feats have been hiking an icey Angels Landing in Zion National Park, BASE Jumping in Moab, climbing the first two pitches on El Capitan, backpacking in the Canadian Rockies, learning fire spinning, and some adventures through Europe and Asia. I'm a wild heart with determination like no other.
I mainly live in Moab, Utah!
I chose Moab, Utah as the place where I mainly live in my van. I could go on endlessly about what this place has to offer. If you want to get married in Utah or Colorado, I am definitely your girl! But I also still travel outside of this region, including heading all the way up to Alaska in 2023!
I believe life is about experience
In my 23 years of life, I have experienced a lot. I graduated high school at 16, and by the time I was 18 I received my associate's degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship from Sinclair Community College, in Dayton, Ohio. I'm from Ohio, and although I will always love the place where my roots started, it's also the place that gave me wings to fly away and explore new places. My first time in California, I was 17 years old. I took the greyhound and hitchhiked my way there. I fell in love with the west coast. the Sequoia's, the magnificence of El Capitan & Half Dome, Los Angeles lights, and Joshua Trees, I knew I belonged out west.
I've experienced 41 states, 40 national parks, and 7 countries. As a teenager, I looked up to so many destination photographers who shot elopements, and knew that was what I wanted to do. I'm so happy to be able to bring my passions and talents together to serve my clients in my dream profession, I love what I do, and I am so excited to serve you on your wedding day!
At 19 years old, I bought Billie, my home on wheels
She's a 2001 Dodge Ram, and she's my pal. We go everywhere together (literally). Vanlife has opened up so many more doors and opportunities to me, I truly belong in this nomadic lifestyle. Because of this choice, I am always on the go and moving around. I have narrowed my niche and area of specialty to mainly California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Utah. These are the places I love most, and frequent year round.
