Eliza & Reece chose nothing short of the full experience for their wedding, & it's inspiring.
Eliza and I met because we were seated at the same table at a wedding many years ago. I was the photographer, and she was a guest. When she reached out to me and we had our first phone call a year ago, she told me it wasn't just our conversation that made her remember me, but the thank you cards from that wedding. When my clients Maddie & Jacque (clients who I'm very lucky to have maintained regular contact with!) mailed their Thank You cards, they didn't mail photos of just themselves, and instead mailed photos of each guest that I had captured in some candid moment. Everyone was represented in that gallery, and that really stood out to Eliza & Reece.
I was humbled, honored, and excited when Eliza & Reece booked me for their multi day summer camp wedding in the Santa Cruz Mountains. But first, something I always talk about as one of the most important parts of my process and you'll see why, we had to do their engagement session. Eliza had her heart set on Yosemite, and I was glad to oblige! I've had jobs in Yosemite every year since 2018, and this was my only session there last year, making it all the more special.

now we get to the wedding festivities!
The opening night of Eliza & Reece's wedding was SO fun, themed for the 80's when their parents got married! We recreated wedding shots, got sparkley on the dance floor, and had so much fun.

Day two brought all the summer camp activities!
Running, acroyoga, volleyball, basketball, arts and crafts, a slip n slide, campfire and smore's, truly what more could you ask for! This couple went all out with family friendly inclusive activities facilitating memories that will last a lifetime, just like summer camp.
Wedding Day!
Can you believe it! All these memories made, and the wedding day hadn't even begun yet. One of Eliza's favorite things to do which I relate and admire her greatly for, is running. She started the day with a run with family and friends through the redwoods. They even had time on their wedding day morning to jump in the pool together!
After detail shots and getting ready, it was time for their first look. We had the best time getting the shots they've dreamed of in the forest. Then once their ceremony started, oh my goodness the whole forest lit up. This day was straight out of a fairytale, perfect for this fairytale couple and their love story.
Honeymoon Shoot
Eliza & Reece booked this super sweet treehouse nearby their venue to stay at before leaving for their honeymoon in Hawaii. I came over for some quick romantic storytelling shots, a celebration of their journey beginning as a married couple.
