From your photographer:
Discovering Moab as my home has been a long process for me. Apart of growing into this community was taking a second job, and I decided to get a job at the wonderful non profit, Wabisabi.
If you're a local to Moab, you know Wabisabi. It's the only thrift store, and always has the best second hand finds. The best part is, all the proceeds go to other local non profits, and they have an incredible system for recycling as many goods as possible! It's an incredible organization, and I have adored working there for the past few months and contributing to the community.
I decided to ask my co workers Mal & Wiley, to model for me for a styled elopement. Like me, they're also both climbers, and have a truck for off roading, which is needed for the ceremony location I chose.
Believe it or not, these outfits were entirely thrifted from Wabisabi! I wanted to represent where we all met and show off some of the goods you can find at what I consider to be the best thrift store EVER. We got florals from West Curations, and drove River Rd to begin the climbing section of this shoot.
I love being local to Moab, and my purpose with this shoot is the show potential clients what an adventure elopement here in Moab could look like. There are so many incredible places to elope out here, and so many options for adventurous activities! Along with climbing and off roading, we can also easily include canyoneering, running the river, mountain biking, and more as apart of your adventure wedding day.
