Tell me about your favorite adventure you've had together so far!:
Yosemite was our first large backpacking trip together which was amazing but I think the engagement on the mountain in Olympic NP tops it now!
Lastly, tell me about your upcoming wedding day!:
Looking to elope in Yosemite in September 2024. Just the two of us - We are a laid back couple and can't imagine having a large wedding. So we want to go back to where I (Katie) knew I wanted to marry Matt. A sunrise ceremony and then some photos after / maybe in some normal clothes?! We would love to hear your ideas!
This is the inquiry I got from Katie and Matt and the beginning information I had to work on their elopement plan with them. I immediately started brainstorming ideas, and we had a zoom call to go over options which included backpacking, rock climbing, and smaller day activities. We came up with a beautiful plan for a sunrise ceremony at Glacier Point, a morning hike up Sentinel Dome, but we held a lot of loose ideas for their day.
After Sentinel Dome, I was brimming with ideas for how we would spend the day. Instead of the usual strict itinerary, whenever we would finish an activity I would then give them two options for the next thing they wanted to do. This gave them freedom to create their adventure day based on how they felt in the moment! It felt like a storybook, we had so much fun.

I truly cannot express how amazing Christina / Adventure for Love is... We planned our Yosemite elopement and had a meeting with a different photographer and it didnt feel right. My husband and I then found Christina, had a meeting with her, and IMMEDIATELY clicked. Right away, she was so bubbly and personable.
She helped us every step of the way, even planning our day of itinerary. She was able to meet us for engagement pictures in the spring which were so much fun and it was amazing to be able to meet our photographer before we spend our wedding with her! She made us feel so comfortable and CONFIDENT. (she will be your hype girl). There was open communication through the whole process leading up to the wedding day. And our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we are so so lucky that we chose her. Booking with Christina was one of the best things that we did for our wedding.
To Katie and Matt, thank you for trusting me with your day. To be the only other person there to witness your vows, tears, first kiss as a married couple, it is a honor that is never lost on me. I hope we're all listening to Bilmuri while picking flowers from you garden sometime down the road :)
