I recently had a date in October open up due to a Covid related cancellation. I was so bummed, as October is the busiest month of the year for most photographers and I'd been holding that date for quite some time. Not too long after, Danae and Gavin emailed me they were looking for a photographer for that date! They weren't having much luck finding someone who wasn't booked, it was fate!
On top of having their date open, I was passing through Washington where they were living (across the country from where their wedding will be held). It was too perfect! I've been dying to shoot at Rattlesnake Ridge, and they were down! We shot at the bottom with the ridge behind the lake, and then hiked all the way up to the top for photos right on the ledge. Afterwards we headed to a brewery for beer and burgers, a perfect day!
This was my first time visiting Washington in almost two years, and I haven't been able to stay away long since. I am excited for my future capturing more love stories here in the Pacific Northwest!
