Kunal reached out to me last fall about his idea to propose to Pranita at Crater Lake. They already had a getaway with their friends planned, but he wanted to add in an extra surprise to their proposal. Many more of their friends flew out from all over the states to hide in the bushes to witness the proposal. I pretended to be a landscape photographer trying to build my portfolio, and stopped them on their hike to ask if I could take their photos, so she had no idea I was hired to be there. After Kunal proposed, 15 of their friends ran out from hiding to congratulate them, and Pranita was double surprised!
Conditions at the deepest lake in the states were hazy, creating a beautiful soft blue background. I am yet to be disappointed by a sunset at Crater Lake! The photos from this proposal turned out so wonderfully, I am obsessed with these PNW colors and cannot wait to return in April 2024!
