Nicole & Nelson did their marriage privately, and reached out to me to do their wedding announcement photos in Arches National Park while they were on their honeymoon. Given it was summer and the temperatures during the day, I suggested we meet for sunrise for the coolest temperatures and least amount of tourists.
When we hiked over to one of the main arches in this section, it stunned them to still see at least 40 other people there sitting quietly, waiting for the sun to begin peaking into the desert. Now, I did this session right after Generative AI Fill came out on Lightroom this summer. This location is not one I would have ever considered before, as it would take too long to photoshop the people out of every image at the main arch. However, with this incredibly efficient and precise tool now in Lightroom, we could enjoy the sunrise with everyone else and still get many images without people in it.
