I can't even begin to describe to you what an incredible honor it was to shoot this elopement.
A little over 10 years ago, middle school me was scrolling through YouTube and discovered one of my all time favorite singers, Christina Grimmie. I watched her and her best friend Sarah create so many silly videos, and deeply admired their friendship from afar. I would even recreate their videos with my middle school best friend, such good memories 💛
After Christina passed, I continued to follow Sarah, praying for her and seeing her journey through grief and healing. One day she found my account, and saw I was already following her. We began keeping up with each other, and when her and Nate got engaged, she reached out to me about photographing her elopement!
Being able to serve someone who I have adored from afar for so long, is an honor I cannot describe. I am so happy I got to celebrate these two on their elopement day, and show them around Moab!
